State Troopers worked eight Alabama auto accidents over Memorial Day weekend, according to blog.al.com.
In the most recent Alabama auto accident, one man was killed and another injured in a single-vehicle accident. A 20-year-old was driving a Ford F-100 when he lost control in a curve, swerved off the road and flipped in the Alabama auto accident.
A 20-year-old passenger in the truck at the time of the Alabama auto accident was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the Alabama auto accident.
The driver was taken to UAB Hospital by helicopter and was last listed in serious condition as a result of his injuries in the Alabama auto accident.
It was not mentioned whether drugs or alcohol were to blame for the Alabama auto accident, but of the other fatal accidents, alcohol was involved in at least five, and seatbelts were not worn in five.
