
Bio
H. Cooper Ellenberg, II was raised in Johns Creek, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clemson University in 2005. He then attended the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2010. While in law school, Cooper was an academic scholarship recipient and served as an article editor for the Law and Psychology Review.
Cooper was admitted to practice law in Alabama in 2010, Mississippi in 2014, and New York in 2023. Over his 15-year legal career, he has appeared in numerous U.S. District Courts across the country, as well as various state courts and alternative dispute resolution forums, including the American Arbitration Association (AAA), Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (JAMS), and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Dispute Resolution (FINRA DR).
He is a current or former member of the Alabama Association for Justice, Mississippi Association for Justice, National Association of Consumer Advocates, and National Consumer Law Center. Cooper has also authored legal publications and presented at multiple Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars on topics such as ethics in auto injury litigation, liability in insurance coverage, and forensic data analysis in transportation cases.
Outside of his legal practice, Cooper enjoys spending time with his wife, three boys, and their dog, Wally.
