Bio
Nathan Evans was born in Provo, Utah, raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and now lives in Helena, Alabama. He earned his undergraduate degree in English from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 2001.
While at BYU, Nathan took a two-year sabbatical to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chicago, Illinois. During this sabbatical, he learned how to speak Polish, Czech, and Ukrainian, which gave him the opportunity to offer translation and support services to Polish-speaking patients at Our Lady of the Resurrection Hospital in Chicago.
He earned his Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia. While there, Nathan was the symposium editor for the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review. He also interned at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
Nathan was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in 2005 and in Georgia in 2022. An avid and accomplished oil painter, Nathan has several paintings displayed in the Bessie Smith Cultural Center in Chattanooga.
