Birmingham auto accident on Christmas Eve involves police car

Because Christmas is a time of heavy traveling, more law enforcement agents will likely be on roadways. However, like other drivers, police officers face an increased risk for Alabama auto accidents.

Unfortunately, one police officer was involved in a Birmingham auto accident with another vehicle on Christmas Eve, according to the Birmingham News.

The Birmingham auto accident occurred on the Elton B. Stephens Expressway when a police cruiser that was stopped while the officer driving it was trying to remove graffiti. The vehicle struck the police cruiser, but no one suffered Birmingham auto accident injuries.
